“With Bible prophecies of the end times appearing to come to pass before our very eyes, there’s a big one many wonder about. Is the Antichrist alive? Who is he? What is he doing? … Here’s what Graham had to say … The Bible refers to the Antichrist as an evil person of great spiritual power who will appear at the end of the present age … As the name ‘Antichrist’ implies, he will be completely and utterly opposed to Christ and His people … Is the Antichrist alive today? On one hand, the Bible urges us not to speculate about this or become overly anxious about it … The most important fact about the Antichrist, however, is that he will not win.”

This is pretty much what you get from Protestants now regarding the antichrist. Billy Graham not only is unable or unwilling to pinpoint the antichrist, he makes the same mistake that the majority of Protestants and Evangelicals make today. And that is to take the Jesuit line of thinking regarding antichrist. Proposing that the antichrist is one person who would arise in the very last days. And yet the Bible makes it real clear that the antichrist is not one person who will arise in the last days, but a RELIGIOUS SYSTEM which tries to TAKE THE PLACE OF CHRIST, that has been with us for a long time!

This antichrist system is known as the ‘little horn power’ of Daniel 7, the ‘man of sin’ of 2 Thessalonians 2, the ‘sea beast’ of Revelation 13, and ‘Babylon the Great’ of Revelation 17. And these ALL point unmistakenly to the Papal Church of Rome, with that ‘man of sin’, the pope as it’s leader! You see, the word ‘antichrist’ does NOT just mean ‘against’ Christ, as the English word suggests. If you look at the original Greek word, you will see it also means to ‘TAKE THE PLACE’ of Christ. And what religious system on earth has tried to do just that? Roman Catholicism. Just look at what the ‘fathers’ of Protestantism believed:

MARTIN LUTHER – ” For who is the man of sin and the son of perdition, but he who by his teaching and his ordinances increases the sin and perdition of souls in the church; while he yet sits in the church as if he were God? All these conditions have now for many ages been fulfilled by the papal tyranny.” (Martin Luther, First Principles, pp. 196-197)

JOHN CALVIN – “Some persons think us too severe and censorious when we call the Roman Pontiff Antichrist. .. I shall briefly show that (Paul’s words in II Thess. 2) are not capable of any other interpretation than that which applies them to the Papacy.” (Institutes of the Christian Religion, Vol.3, p.149)

JOHN KNOX – “as for your Roman kirk, as it is now corrupted, and the authority thereof, whereon stands the hope of your victory, I no more doubt but that it is the synagogue of Satan, and the head thereof, called the pope, to be that man of sin, of whom the apostle speaks.” (John Knox, The History of the Reformation of Religion in Scotland, p.65)

JOHN WESLEY – “In many respects, the Pope has an indisputable claim to those titles. He is, in an emphatical sense, the man of sin, as he increases all manner of sin above measure.” (John Wesley, Explanatory Notes Upon The New Testament, p.216)

CHARLES SPURGEON – “It is the bounden duty of every Christian to pray against Antichrist, and as to what Antichrist is no sane man ought to raise a question. If it be not the popery in the Church of Rome there is nothing in the world that can be called by that name … Popery is contrary to Christ’s Gospel, and is the Antichrist, and we ought to pray against it.” (Michael de Semlyen, All Roads Lead to Rome)

ELLEN WHITE – “This compromise between paganism and Christianity resulted in the development of the man of sin foretold in prophecy as opposing and exalting himself above God. That gigantic system of false religion is a masterpiece of Satan’s power – a monument of his efforts to seat himself upon the throne to rule the earth according to his will. To secure worldly gains and honors, the church was led to seek the favor and support of the great men of earth; and having thus rejected Christ, she was induced to yield allegiance to the representative of Satan – the bishop of Rome … Prophecy had declared that the papacy was to ‘think to change times and laws. (Daniel 7:25)” (E.G.White, The Great Controversy, pp.49-51)

Many other great men and women, including William Tyndale, John Wycliffe, Philipp Melanchthon, Huldreich Zwingli and the Translators of the King James Bible all proclaimed the antichrist to be the Papal Church of Rome, with the pope as that ‘man of sin’. Sadly, Protestants today have joined hands with that whore of Babylon and have accepted false Jesuit teachings concerning the antichtist to divert people from the truth!

Biblical World View in Danger of Extinction

Friday March 24th, 2017 in Briefings, Prophetic Intelligence Briefings By Keep the Faith Ministries

Of more than 75 million American Millennials (those born around the year 2000 and later) only four percent have a biblical worldview, says well-respected pollster George Barna. And he says that’s not good news looking down the road. Barna describes them as “one of the most spiritually challenging generations to reach adulthood in the past century.” They are “raising a new set of challenges to Christianity and to a nation whose morals and values have long reflected biblical principles,” he adds.

When asked questions that would identify their connection to a biblical world view, only one in 25 Millennials came up with answers that put them in the “biblical worldview” category. The younger set, he says, is trending in the wrong direction. “By and large they are not inclined to move toward Christianity,” Barna said.

“They’re less likely to describe themselves as Christians, they’re less likely to embrace Christ as their Savior, [and] they’re more likely to say that they have no kind of faith connection whatsoever.”

According to Barna, Millennials are living out worldviews that have no moral anchor in a stormy culture. “They’re much more accepting of lying, they’re more accepting of cheating, they’re more accepting of abortion and divorce and stealing and pornography,” he explains.

And the church is ill equipped to help. “Only about a third of born-again Christians in America actually have a biblical worldview,” he offers. “That indicates that churches may partly be struggling because they tend to rely on born-again adults as the backbone of the church.”

“The worldview that you have at the age 13 is essentially the worldview that you die with,” said Barna. And since the parents of Millennials may not be any more biblical in their worldview than their kids, those conversations may well fall to their grandparents, further decreasing its chances of transmission.

“…Because 24 of every 25 Millennials lack a biblical worldview today,” Barna says, “the probability of them transmitting such to their children is extremely low. You cannot give what you don’t have. In other words, if today’s children are going to eventually embrace a biblical worldview, people with such a perspective must exert substantial influence on the nation’s children to supply what their parents are unable to give them.”

To add to the problem, roughly a third (32%) of adults of “grandparent” age (50 or older) possess a biblical worldview. So, chances of transmitting a biblical worldview to future generations are seriously diminished.

“The light esteem in which the law of God is held, even by religious leaders, has been productive of great evil. The teaching, which has become so wide-spread that the divine statutes are no longer binding upon men, is the same as idolatry in its effect upon the morals of the people. Those who seek to lessen the claims of God’s holy law are striking directly at the foundation of the government of families and nations. Religious parents, failing to walk in his statutes, do not command their household to keep the way of the Lord. The law of God is not made the rule of life. The children, as they make homes of their own, feel under no obligation to teach their children what they themselves have never been taught. And this is why there are so many godless families; this is why depravity is so deep and wide-spread.” Christian Education, page 220.

Jesus said that one of the signs of the end of the world was the rise of “pestilences” or (deadly diseases- please read Matthew 24:3, 7. We are further told that in last days disease would be upon both man and beast. And that they would increase as we near the end of time. Notice the following quotation:

“While appearing to the children of men as a great physician who can heal all their maladies, he (Satan)will bring disease and disaster, until populous cities are reduced to ruin and ebola pic of virusdesolation. Even now he is at work. In accidents and calamities by sea and by land, in great conflagrations, in fierce tornadoes and terrific hailstorms, in tempests, floods, cyclones, tidal waves, and earthquakes, in every place and in a thousand forms, Satan is exercising his power. He sweeps away the ripening harvest, and famine and distress follow. He imparts to the air a deadly taint, and thousands perish by the pestilence. These visitations are to become more and more frequent and disastrous. Destruction will be upon both man and beast. “The earth mourneth and fadeth away,” “the haughty people . . . do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.” Isaiah 24:4, 5. {GC 589.3}
