While same-sex marriage and other gay rights issues are getting themselves entrenched in American law and jurisprudence, transgenders are now the focus of the politically-correct left in the USA, as anyone willing to be honest would admit.

Now a second U.S. state has decided that churches, too, are bound by the agenda. The Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) released a “Gender Identity Guidance” that imposes its demands on society, including churches.

“The Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination enforces [state law on discrimination]. The MCAD developed this guidance to educate the public about discrimination based on gender identity, to describe what evidence may be submitted to support a claim of gender identity discrimination, to inform individuals of their rights, and to assist employers, providers of housing, mortgage services, and owners, managers and agents of places of public accommodation in understanding their obligations.”

The conflict with churches arises under the instructions for “places of public accommodation.” “Under [the law] places of public accommodation may not discriminate against, or restrict a person from services because of that person’s gender identity. For example, a hotel or motel may not refuse to book a room for a person because of the person’s gender identity,” the guidance says. “Even a church could be seen as a place of public accommodation if it holds a secular event, such as a spaghetti supper, that is open to the general public.”

But churches often have public events to attract new members. The Massachusetts law seems to take aim at these events by following the Obama unofficial designation that religious freedom only applies to worship.

Even the use of pronouns referring to a transgender’s biological sex is prohibited by the guidance. One conservative blogger said, “Tolerating such remarks is generally seen as allowing a ‘hostile environment,’ and therefore ‘harassment.’ Indeed, the statement… specifically encourages people to ‘prohibit derogatory comments or jokes about transgender persons from employees, clients, vendors and any others, and promptly investigate and discipline persons who engage in discriminatory conduct’.”

Churches, it seems, could be held liable to punishment if they do not suppress their own congregant’s or worker’s expression that might be offensive to transgenders. Any ‘public accommodation’ can be “ordered not to say anything that might make a homosexual or a transgender feel ‘unwelcome,’ such as even reading from the Bible a condemnation of such behavior.”

“Churches should be free to communicate their religious beliefs and operate their houses of worship according to their faith without fearing government punishment,” said Christiana Holcomb, legal counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom. “It’s not good enough for government officials to say we should simply trust them to tell us what is religious and what isn’t. The law must be clear, and at present, the only thing that’s clear is that the law gives too much power to government bureaucrats who don’t even seem to understand the most basic constitutional principles.”

When the state identifies a church or some or all of its activities as a “public” accommodation, narrows the definition of a “bona fide religious purpose,” and tells a church what it can say and what it cannot say, it has crossed the constitutional line described in the first amendment.

In Iowa state, a similar commission also claims that state law demands that people be given access to church restrooms and locker rooms according to “gender identity.”

Religious freedom is more clearly than ever under attack by those pushing transgender rights. It is chipping away at the U.S. Constitution’s first amendment in its bill of rights. Gradually, but rapidly, every principle is being eroded until it will be completely repudiated. See Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, page 451.

Nike has cut ties with legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao due to recent opinions he shared on homosexuality.

The eight-time world boxing champion told a local television station earlier in the week that same-sex couples are in many ways “worse than animals” because even beasts shun the practice.

“It’s common sense,” the Christian athlete told TV5 in the the Philippines on Monday. “Do you see animals mating with the same sex? Animals are better because they can distinguish male from female. If men mate with men and women mate with women, they are worse than animals.”

Nike made the decision less than 24 hours after a new petition was launched against the boxer.

“We find Manny Pacquiao’s comments abhorrent. Nike strongly opposes discrimination of any kind and has a long history of supporting and standing up for the rights of the LGBT community,” the company said it a statement, TMZ reported. “We no longer have a relationship with Manny Pacquiao.”

Pacquiao, a congressman in the Philippines, used his official Twitter account on Tuesday to apologize for “hurting people,” but added, “I still stand on my belief that I’m against same-sex marriage because of what the Bible says.”

Pacquiao will be busy over the next few months. The 37-year-old boxer, whose record stands at 57-6-2, will fight one last time April 9 in Las Vegas, Nevada, against Timothy Bradley, 32, for the WBO welterweight championship belt. He then will attempt to win a senate seat during a May 9 election in the Philippines.

“This is my last fight,” Pacquiao said during a Madison Square Garden news Jan. 22, Reuters reported. “After this I’m going to retire and hang up my gloves and focus on my other big responsibility in my daily life, to help the people.”

Benjamin Franklin once said, “Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech.”

The USA in Bible Prophecy

In light of recent decisions made by the Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security, federal lawmakers introduced legislation this week that would require law enforcement to obtain a warrant before using controversial cell-site simulators.

Such technology, also known as stingrays, mimics cell-towers to obtain enough electronic data to locate nearby phones and identify owners. Privacy and civil liberties advocates have balked against the use of such devices, fighting that a search warrant be required before they’re used.

The draft bill — the Cell-Site Simulator Act of 2015 — introduced by Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) Monday, along with John Conyers (D-Mich.), and Rep. Peter Welch (D-Vt.), would make the use of stingrays to obtain information without a warrant a punishable offense to the tune of up to 10 years in prison or a fine. It would also prohibit the use of evidence obtained through the devices in a manner that is in violation with the bill. The bill does provide exceptions for the collection of foreign intelligence and in certain emergency circumstances.

Total surveillance is key to developing the consolidation of power and control. It also blurs the U.S. Constitution’s privacy protections. The inquisition would have loved to have these capabilities. Worldly governments are preparing for the final crisis. They use terrorism as the reason for building their massive systems that will one day be used on another target: those who don’t go along with global religion. See Revelation 13:8

“The abuse of Stingrays and other cell-site simulators by individuals, including law enforcement, could enable gross violations of privacy,” Chaffetz said in a statement. “The fact that law enforcement agencies, and non-law enforcement agencies such as the IRS, have invested in these devices raises serious questions about who is using this technology and why.  These questions demonstrate the need for strict guidelines that carry the weight of the law.”

Every principle of sovereignty, privacy and other constitutional protections is being repudiated by this and other actions taken by the United States, the 5-eyes nations and others. See Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5 and page 451.

Who is the Antichrist?

The British home secretary, Theresa May, has vowed to “systematically confront and challenge extremist ideology.” She said the government is creating new counter-extremism curbs on those who “spread hate.” But she also said that “non-violent extremism” would not go “uncontested” because in the past it led to the “erosion of women’s rights, the spread of intolerance and bigotry and the separation of some communities “from the mainstream.” She said the new laws would govern neo-Nazi ideology as well as Islamist doctrine. “We will systematically confront and challenge extremist ideology, exposing it for the lie it is. And we will thwart its destructive consequences,” she continued. “We will disrupt all those who seek to spread hate and we will prosecute all those who break the law.”

Those who are deemed to be radical preachers will be banned from posting material online and anyone convicted of extremist activity will be barred from working with children. And for those deemed to be a threat, there will be required de-radicalization classes.

While Muslim leaders warned that the strategy risks alienating Muslims, the new laws and regulations will eventually target those who are labeled radical because they teach the Bible principles concerning other religions. Islamic radicalism is used as the reason to legitimize new laws that will eventually target those who preach the Bible’s teaching concerning false worship of any kind.

While the new measures include upgrading schools and public institutions to make sure they are adequately protected, investigation into the use of Sharia law in the UK, tougher powers the broadcasting regulator to take down television and radio channels that include extremist content, and insist that internet service providers do more to remove extremist material and identify those responsible for it, the measures also include closure orders for premises used to support extremism, extremism disruption orders to stop individuals from engaging in extremist behavior.

Imagine the British government closing down Christian churches and schools and blocking Christian content on the internet, radio and television in the name of preventing extremism. While it doesn’t seem likely at the moment, but those who preach the Bible principles on same-sex relationships, give the fullness of the three angels messages including the call to come out of Babylon, would likely be considered to be extremists.

Needless to say the Muslim Council of Britain was highly critical of the plans, saying the government was using a “misguided ‘conveyer-belt theory’ analysis that conflates terrorism with subjective notions of extremism and Islamic practices.” The strategy will “reinforce perceptions that all aspects of Muslim life must undergo a ‘compliance’ test to prove our loyalty to this country,” said Dr. Shuja Shafi, the secretary of the Council. He added that the measures would be seen as a means to address the anxieties of a minority of people “against Muslims and their religious life rather than the scourge of terrorism itself.”

The Labour party criticized Mr. Cameron, the Prime Minister for implying earlier this year that “the whole Muslim community quietly condones extremism.”

Freedom of speech is now under assault in the name of fighting terrorism and extremism at least in Britain. “Non-violent extremism” could eventually expand and cross over to take in those that believe and teach the Bible, particularly as it relates to Revelation 13,14:6-12, Rev 17 and Revelation 18:1-4 in which exposes the Papacy.

Giving the last warning message from the Bible could easily land one in difficulty with the British authorities. please read article below for more insight. Click on image below

(article IS FROM Vatican Radio)  The orderly development of “a civil, pluralistic society requires” that the “authentic spirit of  religion” not be “confined” to “personal conscience but that its significant role in the construction of society is recognized,” said Pope Francis in his remarks to the Italian president.

Pope Francis met with Italian President Sergio Mattarella at the Vatican Saturday morning. It was their first meeting since the president’s election on 3 February.

“The Church offers everyone the beauty of the Gospel and its message of salvation and, to carry out its spiritual mission, it needs conditions of peace and calm, which only public authorities can promote,” the pope said, reflecting on the collaborative relationship between the Holy See and the Italian state, as defined by the Lateran Pacts and the Italian Constitution.

“On the other hand, public authorities—who are primarily expected to create the conditions for a  just and sustainable development, so that civil society can develop all its potentialities—can find a valuable and useful support for their action in the commitment and loyal collaboration of the Church,” he said.

Though independent, church and state share “the common responsibility” of meeting people’s “spiritual and physical needs…with humility and dedication,” he said.

The Pope spoke of the impact of Christianity on Italian culture, including art, architecture, customs and family life. He emphasized the need to care for the environment and to develop employment opportunities for Italian youth.

He also expressed gratitude for Italy’s commitment to welcoming numerous migrants who land on the country’s shores and urged Italian authorities to petition the European and international communities for greater commitment to assistance in the area of migration.

“The Constitution of the United States guarantees liberty of conscience. Nothing is dearer or more fundamental. Pope Pius IX, in his Encyclical Letter of August 15, 1854, said: `The absurd and erroneous doctrines or ravings in defense of liberty of conscience are a most pestilential error—a pest, of all others, most to be dreaded in a state.’ The same pope, in his Encyclical Letter of December 8, 1864, anathematized `those who assert the liberty of conscience and of religious worship,’ also ‘all such as maintain that the church may not employ force.’ GREAT CONTROVERSY page 564

Who, or what, is the Antichrist? Evil alliance, or sinister individual? Some say his appearance is still in the future. Others say he appeared long ago in the days of ancient Rome. But the Bible indicates that he is alive today! The Bible prophecies teach this antichrist power will play a crucial role in the final events of earth’s history. Do you know who he is? Are you sure? The FCC has passed a historic measure to more strictly regulate the Internet.

The new rules, based on the principles of “net neutrality,” act to provide equal opportunity for Internet speeds and access to websites.

The central question was whether network owners — like Comcast (CMCSA) or Time Warner Cable (TWC) — can discriminate what runs on their cables. The FCC’s answer on Thursday was: No.

The Democratic-led commission approved 3-to-2, split along party lines, to assert extra government authority over the Internet.

Now for the wild claims on both sides: “We saved the Internet!” or “We’ve destroyed it with government bureaucracy!”

Don’t believe the hype. Take a deep breath. It’s a long, tricky road ahead.

The FCC rules won’t be official until maybe summertime. Then major telecom companies will challenge new rules in court. A judge might put the rules on hold. The next president, if Republican, could let this fizzle away.

That’s why, in the near term, nothing changes. No, Netflix won’t suddenly stream any faster. No, AT&T and Comcast won’t abruptly stop laying down high-speed fiber cables in your neighborhood as retaliation. And yes, Netflix can still cut deals with broadband companies for faster access to a network.

So what just happened, exactly? The FCC just granted itself the power to defeat a raging, fire-breathing monster: the monopolistic network owners who can kill Internet freedom by blocking websites — or by creating an Internet fast lane for the privileged, few, rich tech companies that can pay for it.

But this monster is actually a phantom menace. Sure, in the past, telecoms have been bullies. Verizon blocked Google Wallet. AT&T blocked video chatting apps. Comcast slowed down file-sharing services like BitTorrent. Rural telephone provider Madison River blocked Vonage’s over-the-Internet phone calls. However, the FCC used existing rules to fix those problems.

The new rules essentially maintain the status quo. The Internet sure feels free today. It’ll feel the same way tomorrow.

That’s why some worry about how the FCC just ensured net neutrality. To enforce fairness rules, the agency will regulate network owners by scooping them up under Title II of the 1934 Telecommunications Act, a specific set of regulations that apply to phone companies. Telecoms say the rules don’t match the services they provide. They don’t trust the FCC’s promise that it will apply only a tiny fraction of those rules and won’t regulate rates and increase taxes.

“Assurances like these don’t tend to last very long,” warned Republican FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai. “Expect … regulation to ratchet up as time goes on.”

Meanwhile, Tom Wheeler, the FCC chairman who ditched his original dialed-back plan for this one, assured this isn’t a government power grab.

“This is no more a plan to regulate the Internet than the First Amendment is a plan to regulate free speech,” he said. “They both stand for the same concept: openness, expression and an absence of gatekeepers.”

How did we start caring about this? Credit comedian John Oliver, who got enough viewers of his HBO show that a record 4 million Americans sent comments to the FCC.

He framed it from the point of view of the average person dealing with their Internet service provider. Plans are expensive, service is inexplicably spotty and you have little choice. Clearly, the network owners are the bad guys.

During Thursday’s hearing, the testimony of those who spoke in favor of the FCC’s new rules all took that populist tone. Etsy CEO Chad Dickerson thanked the FCC for “protecting the Internet as an engine for economic opportunity.” Celebrated technologist Sir Tim Berners-Lee said this ensures modern entrepreneurs the same opportunity he had when he created the World Wide Web 26 years ago.

After the vote, President Obama issued this statement via Twitter: “Today’s FCC decision will protect innovation and create a level playing field for the next generation of entrepreneurs.”

But wait, there’s a third option. As this fight makes its way through the courts, Congress has the opportunity to stand up and write rules that work too.

After all, both network owners and the websites that flow data through them have a point. Outright blocking and anti-competitive behavior is unfair and should be illegal. On the other hand, for technical reasons, network owners need to manage traffic. Your video stream needs to move faster than your email for your experience to feel smooth.

That’s why critics call the Title II approach — what the FCC did today — a blunt instrument. But it’s not clear that it’s as wonderful — or terrible — as everyone says.

Rob Atkinson, president of the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, a technology policy think tank, laments how the conversation has spiraled out of control.

“This has become a debate about a false choice: letting carriers do whatever the heck they want and overly burdensome regulations,” Atkinson said.

This seems to be a outrage to Net-flicks subscribers but to students of Bible prophecy this should be a bit alarming with the government to assert extra authority over the Internet the ones who speak about the Beast power in Revelation chapter 13 and 17 that exposes the Papacy. Could it be possible that this control by the government shutdown website ministries who are exposing the  Rome Catholic church  as the Antichrist. Could this control prevent the Three angles messages of Revelation 13 to be preached around the world. Its now time to have a urgency in our hearts to spread this message because in the near future it will not be easy to give the message when we will no longer buy or sell. In the darkages many Christians had their Bibles taken away from them and were persecuted for it we will be soon heading to this time again history is repeating itself. God’s word says That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past Ecclesiastes 3:15. Study for yourself below
