New Catholic and Lutheran EpochSlider Image 1

The Catholic Church and the Lutheran World Federation have reached an epoch-making turning-point, said Rev. Martin Junge, General Secretary of The Lutheran World Federation. The relationship between Lutherans and Catholics is being transformed “from conflict to communion,” he said during a panel to the Lutheran Church in Rome.

With Junge on the panel were Kurt Cardinal Koch, president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity (PCPCU), Bishop Karl-Hinrich Manzke, the Catholic representative of the United Evangelical Lutheran Church of Germany, and Bishop Gerhard Feige, the chairperson of the Ecumenism Commission of the German Episcopal Conference

The panel announced plans for a common liturgical guide in connection with the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in 2017. The guide will follow on from the dialogue document From Conflict to Communion published jointly in 2013.

The focus of celebrations in 2017 is “Not church division, nor the 500th anniversary of a church and certainly not any heroic actions,” but rather celebrate a “festival of Christ.” The Catholic Church is not demanding repentance of the Lutherans, nor are the Lutherans demanding repentance of the Catholics.

Junge said, “our churches have the same mission: to bear clear witness in word and deed.” Unfortunately, by making the celebration a generic celebration of Christ, the clear witness is lacking.

When the leading churches of the United States, uniting upon such points of doctrine as are held by them in common, shall influence the state to enforce their decrees and to sustain their institutions, then Protestant America will have formed an image of the Roman hierarchy, and the infliction of civil penalties upon dissenters will inevitably result. The global unity of Lutherans and Roman Catholics lays the foundation for the leading churches of the United States to fulfill their prophetic destiny. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME AND READ THESE STUDY GUIDES BELOW And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32

THE MAN OF SIN SPEAKS: Pope Francis says (AGAIN) no one can have Salvation outside the Catholic Church! (January 2015)

“Pope Francis stressed that ‘Jesus cannot be understood without his Mother‘. For him, it is impossible ‘to belong to Christ … outside the Church‘ for ‘Christ and his mother are inseparable, just as inseparable are Christ and the Church, because the Church and Mary always go together (and this is the mystery of women in the church community) and one cannot understand salvation brought by Jesus without considering the Church’s motherhood‘. Indeed, ‘Without the Church, Jesus Christ ends up as an idea, a moral teaching, a feeling’ rather than a ‘vital and full relationship with a person: Jesus Christ.”

Pope Francis (that man of sin) confirms what THIS BRAZILIAN PRIEST SAYS, that the Catholic Church places themselves ABOVE the Word of God, and we are to look to the church, NOT the Bible!

I’m sorry to be so blunt, but the words of this pope is straight from the mouth of the devil! This has been Roman Catholic teaching from it’s inception, and Pope Francis is proving that the Roman Catholic Church HAS NOT CHANGED. Nowhere in the Bible do we see any idea that salvation is gained only through ‘a church’, let alone the CHURCH OF BABYLON. Instead, the Word of God clearly teaches that salvation is found in NONE OTHER THAN JESUS CHRIST:

Acts 4:10-12 …’Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.’

Not Mary, not the Roman Catholic Church, but in JESUS CHRIST ALONE is found salvation! For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God… 1 Peter 3:18. And this clear teaching is from Peter, the very one whom the Roman Catholic Church believe to be their first pope! What utter confusion reigns in that church, which is why it is known Biblically as BABYLON     its not the church its Jesus Christ Please study for yourself read lessons below.

On the vast plains of the Altiplano plateau in South America live people who believe in magic. In a remote part of Bolivia, the indigenous Aymara people live according to traditions that have flourished for centuries.

Many of the Aymara — an ancient, indigenous race found in Bolivia, Peru and Chile — suppose that on Tuesdays and Fridays, ordinary people become vulnerable to harmful spirits and the evil eye.

That’s why on those days they stay awake and on their guard until dawn. And that is why they get together and smoke.

“When you exhale the smoke, you send back the evil spells to the sender,” says Raphaël Verona, a Swiss photographer who has just released a new book of photographs of traditional Aymara communities.

“You must also constantly pay homage to the spirits. There is a great variety of different spirits, such as the earth mother Pachamama, Supay, the god of the underworld, and the Virgin Mary.”

Earth Mother; God of the Underworld; and the Virgin Mary. From the point of view of the Aymara, there isn’t an odd one out.

A blend of animism and Catholicism

Catholicism first arrived in the region with the Spanish colonialists in the 16th Century. The early missionaries tried to encourage indigenous people to accept the Catholic God by reinterpreting their own spirits: Pachamama, they said, was Mary, and Supai was the devil.

But the match was largely erroneous. Unlike the Catholic gods, the indigenous spirits were not seen as wholly good nor wholly bad. They were believed to be capricious yet compassionate; though they could cause calamities when slighted, they could be powerful allies when appeased.

Moreover, from the point of view of the Aymara, the terrifying appearance of spirits like Supai, who is depicted with horns and a scarlet face, did not simply signify evil. Rather, it was a reflection of power, which could be used for good or ill.

Because of these irreconcilable cultural differences (which the missionaries had failed to appreciate), Catholic gods were simply added into the Aymara pantheon. Christian rituals became blended with traditional beliefs, adding another dimension to this colorful, hybrid faith.

Elaborate traditional ceremonies such as Tinku and the Oruo carnival, which involve costumes, dancing and singing, are still practiced as they have been since time immemorial. But Catholic saints are included alongside the local deities.

The paradox of the Aymara

“The Aymara people have an approach to life that seems paradoxical from the outside,” says Verona. “In Europe you are either one religion or another, either traditional or modern.

“But in Bolivia people live with both Catholicism and animism, both in modernity and in their ancestral traditions.

“They visit the Yatiri, the priest, to pay homage to deities or give prophesies when they are applying for visas, or for assistance in businesses matters.”

Despite their acceptance of modernity, the Aymara also have little truck with the idea that the spirits might not be literally real.

“Traditional stories are seen to be as true as the people talking to you at this moment,” Verona explains.

“If you ask someone if Supai, the god of the mines and the underworld, lives, they will say of course because they heard stories about it. So myths come to life very strongly in this society.”

The theater of worship

Verona first encountered the Aymara when he was living in Bolivia four years ago. There he met his wife-to-be, who is from the Aymara community, and began to meet her family and wider circle.

“I found myself entering an alien and beautiful culture,” he says. “My parents-in-law would regularly carry out rituals involving offerings of cocoa leaves, alcohol, threads of dyed wool, sugar, and molded figures to the spirits.”

It was the costumes that particularly impressed him. Enchanted by the striking masks and outfits worn by shamans and dancers, he headed back to Switzerland and convinced his friend, the

photographer Thomas Rousset, to collaborate in a photography project.

Many of the portraits were staged in people’s homes, offering a contrived, theatre-like effect; others were taken as “snapshots”. Together, this collection offers a potent evocation of this unusual and thought-provoking way of life.

“It is extraordinary to see this rich native tradition that challenges Western thinking,” Verona says. “I think there is much we can learn from them.”

Does the Catholic Church worship Mary? Do Catholics worship idols? If you ask any Roman Catholic, they will flat out reject that the church worships Mary or idols. What they will say is that they “venerate” Mary and relics. Well, let’s look at the definition of “venerate”

Please see Roman Catholic Sun Worship for more images.

The English word “venerate” comes from the Latin word “veneratus”, which means: worshipped, adored, revered, venerated.” So the word “venerate” can also mean to worship.

I have placed numerous pictures of the Catholic Church giving “veneration” to Mary, idols and relics. You decide whether they are worshipping these things or not. But before you go through the pictures. Remember these words from God … Exodus 20:4-5 …’Thou shalt not MAKE unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. THOU SHALT NOT BOW THYSELF DOWN TO THEM, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.’

Did you notice that we are not even to make any images. And we are not to bow down to them. Because just bowing down to them is WORSHIP! Take a look at these pictures and decide for yourself.

“Thou shalt not bow thyself down to them”

“It is interesting to note how often our Church has availed herself of practices which were in common use among pagans…Thus it is true, in a certain sense, that some Catholic rites and ceremonies are a reproduction of those of pagan creeds.” (The Externals of the Catholic Church, Her Government, Ceremonies, Festivals, Sacramentals and Devotions, by John F. Sullivan, p 156, published by P.J. Kennedy, NY, 1942)

“It has often been charged… that Catholicism is overlaid with many pagan incrustations. Catholicism is ready to accept that accusation – and even to make it her boast… the great god Pan is not really dead, he is baptized.” (The Story of Catholicism p 37)

The Church did everything it couldto stamp out such ‘pagan’ rites, but had to capitulate and allow the rites to continue with only the name of the local diety changed to some Christian saint’s name.” (Religious Tradition and Myth. Pope Francis condemns marijuana.

To most people in the world, especially in the western hemisphere (United States, Canada, etc.), Christianity is the belief that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God and only through him are our sins forgiven. He did say that He is the way, and only through Him can we get to the Father. Pope Francis, on the other hand may have something else to say because according to him, the only way to God is through the Roman Catholic Church.

According to an article by Now The End Begins, Pope Francis enforced this view that the only way to God cannot be done without the Virgin Mary and the Church of Rome. Without both, you are simply condemned to burn for all eternity in hell. The statement that Pope Francis uses that the article brings up is as follows:

“Dear friends, let us ask the Lord, through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, for the grace to never fall into the temptation of thinking we can make it without others, that we can get along without the Church, that we can save ourselves alone, of being Christians of the laboratory. On the contrary, you cannot love God without loving your brothers, you cannot love God outside of the Church; you cannot be in communion with God without being so in the Church.”

Simply going by that statement, there are three things that should be noted for what they state salvation should require. First, there needs to be an intercession of the Virgin Mary. Second, you cannot love God outside of the Church. And third, you cannot be in communion with God without being so in the Church. Going with the Holy Bible, there is no scripture that supports this. As a matter of fact, the article even goes further and states that Pope Francis is the False Prophet, mentioned in the book of Revelations.

However, such exclamations are not new with the Roman Catholic Church. For years, which also includes the years they slaughters millions of Christians simply because they weren’t Catholic, they have expressed their agenda, as stated by Christian Beliefs (End Times Deceptions). According to their article, the most explicit statement about this came from Ope Eugene IV, in the Bull Cantate Domino in 1441, when he proclaimed ex cathedra:

“The Most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, also Jews, heretics, and schismatics can ever be partakers of eternal life, but that they are to go into the eternal fire ‘which was prepared for the devil and his angels’ unless before death they are joined with Her…

No one, let his alms giving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Jesus Christ can be saved unless they abide within the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.”

As of now, multiple End Times news sites have become more active in their reporting, especially since many people who have studied the subject believe it is going to happen soon far more than any time in history. All that could be said is to simply look at all the signs in the Bible that need to be fulfilled before the tribulation starts. In the end, most people are going to see Pope Francis as an amazing man that wants to bring peace among religions. I mean if people can look over the Vatican’s blemishing news pertaining to pornography and drugs, then people will surely overlook when Pope Francis twists the Bible. Recently the Australian Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry into the child abuse of the Catholic Church in Victoria released its report on the horrific saga. Monica Dux, an ex-Catholic wrote the following in the Sydney Morning Herald.

“…Any residual sympathy I had for the Catholic Church has bled away in recent years as the horrifying extent of clerical abuse has been laid bare. The acts that have been documented are of the most appalling kind, not only in their cruelty and their scale, but in the profound betrayal of trust that they involve. It’s been convenient for believers to look on these crimes as the acts of wicked individuals. But the truth is far more shocking. The church has protected these criminals.

“It has systematically enabled, covered up and defended their crimes, in a way that suggests a thoroughly diseased and dysfunctional institutional culture; one that places the interests of the organization over those of individuals.

“Even now, many of those who represent the church continue to demonstrate an inability to grasp the extent and nature of the crimes committed against generations of children, or to offer adequate compensation. As a committee member in the Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry said: ‘Today’s church leaders view the current question of abuse of children as a “short-term embarrassment” which should be handled as quickly as possible to cause the least damage to the church’s standing.’

“People sometimes argue they are justified in participating in a corrupt organization, so they can change it from within. Yet there is a point where an organization becomes so diseased, so thoroughly associated with wickedness, that no decent person would affiliate themselves with it. Surely the Catholic Church has reached this point…

“…Wouldn’t the ultimate act of contrition be to dismantle the organization that fostered, protected, and is still unable to grasp the gravity of the abuse its agents perpetrated? Maybe this is one time when we really should be asking, what would Jesus do?

“Because there is one thing I am sure he would not be doing, and that is attending Mass this Sunday.”

The author may be on to something. The Bible describes this wickedness in graphic spiritual terms.

“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” Revelation 17:1-5

As for affiliating with the Catholic Church, the Bible is equally pointed. Decency demands God’s true people to “Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

As for dismantling the church, the Bible also predicts the dissolution of the Papacy in a most violent and dramatic way. It will be done by rulers or kings. “And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” Revelation 17:16-18

Note that this is describing a city that rules over the kings of the earth. If there is one city-state that has ruled over kings and rulers, and is seeking to do so again by political might and power, it is Vatican City. Please read the articles at the bottom do it for yourself.
