Former Israeli President Shimon Peres has said that Pope Francis is more powerful than the United Nation when it comes to advocating peace.

While visiting the Vatican earlier today, Mr Peres asked Pope Francis to head a parallel United Nations called the “United Religions” to counter religious extremism in the world today.

Peres said the United Nations and its peacekeepers “do not have the force or the effectiveness of any one of the Pope’s homilies, which can draw half a million people just in St Peter’s Square alone.”

“So given that the United Nations has run its course, what we need is an organisation of United Religions,” Mr Peres said, as “the best way to counteract these terrorists who kill in the name of their faith.”

“What we need is an unquestionable moral authority who says out loud, ‘No. God doesn’t want this and doesn’t allow it,’” he sadded.

Speaking to the Catholic magazine, Famiglia Cristiana ahead of the papal meeting, Mr Peres said: “In the past, most wars were motivated by the idea of nationhood. Today, however, wars are incited above all using religion as an excuse.”

Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi, Vatican spokesman, confirmed that Peres, who ended his presidential term in July, had requested the meeting and told the Pope about his idea for United Religions. The Pope, however, did not commit himself to the proposal.

“The Pope listened” to the idea just as he always does with any peace initiative, “showing his interest, his attention and encouragement,” Fr Lombardi said.

But “the Pope made no personal commitment” and reminded Peres that the Vatican has the Pontifical Councils for Interreligious Dialogue and for Justice and Peace — two offices “that are suitable” for supporting or following such initiatives, Father Lombardi said.

Pope Francis also met later in the day with Jordan’s Prince El Hassan bin Talal, who, for the past four decades, has worked to promote interfaith understanding and dialogue around the world.

Fr Lombardi said that, during the 30-minute meeting, the prince talked about the latest activities and “pressing issues” of the various initiatives supported by his Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies. Fr Lombardi said the Pope’s meeting with Mr Peres lasted an unusually long 45 minutes, reflecting the Pope’s “esteem and appreciation” for Mr Peres, whom he earlier praised as a “man of peace.”

The main focus of their talk was Mr Peres’ idea for a “United Religions” organisation and did not touch on current “political issues in any depth” the Vatican spokesman said.

In an exclusive interview with Famiglia Cristiana, the 91-year-old former two-term prime minister of Israel said he wanted to establish an international body representing the world’s major religions, as a moral force able to intervene in conflicts.

Mr Peres said Pope Francis would be the best person to head such a world body because “perhaps for the first time in history, the Holy Father is a leader who’s respected, not just by a lot of people, but also by different religions and their representatives.”

“In fact, perhaps he is the only leader who is truly respected” in the world, said Mr Peres, who was jointly awarded the Nobel Peace prize in 1994 with Palestine Liberation Organisation Chairman Yasser Arafat and Israeli Premier Yitzak Rabin.

We are close to the end and powerful leaders of countries are wondering after the beast. Mr. Peres says Pope Francis is praised as a “man of peace.” The word of God says Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.’2 Thessalonians 2:3-4. Now what does it mean to sit in the temple of God, showing himself to be like God? Peter 2:5 …’Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.’

This simple truth is overlooked by so many today. When we look for that man of sin, we should not be looking for someone to be sitting in a rebuilt temple in Israel. No, the temple of God today, as Paul and Peter confirmed, is THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH. So the man of sin we are looking for is someone SITTING IN THE ‘PROFESSED’ CHRISTIAN CHURCH, showing himself that he is “like God” and exalting himself to a position where he should not be.

So we are looking for someone WITHIN the Professed Church, sitting on a throne, acting like he is “as God”Pope Francis

Exodus 25:17-19 …’And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.’

This is the description of the articles in the most holy place of the sanctuary. We have the mercy seat, which represents the throne of God. And either side of God’s throne are two golden cherubim. And remember, this is a COPY of the actual throne of God in heaven. So in heaven, God has two living cherubim either side of His throne. And Ezekiel 28:12-17 confirms that Lucifer (Satan) used to be one of those “covering cherubs”.

Popes, Francis in the picture you see above , is sitting on a “great white throne”, BETWEEN TWO GOLDEN CHERUBIM, being called HOLY FATHER, which is reserved for God alone, putting themselves in place of God on earth and exalting themselves to a position where they should never be.

The word “anti” in antichrist also means “IN PLACE OF” Christ. Now look Pope Piusat the following quote from John Paul II:

“The leader of the Catholic church is defined by the faith as the Vicar of Jesus Christ (and is accepted as such by believers). The Pope is considered the man on earth who TAKES THE PLACE of the Second Person of the omnipotent God of the Trinity.” (John Paul II, Crossing the Threshold of Hope, p. 3, 1994).

NO ONE can take the place of our Blessed Saviour, no one! But the man of sin ‘tries’ to take His place!

So many people are looking in the wrong place for antichrist. We need to look in the professed Christian church. We need to be looking at a religious system that has put itself IN PLACE OF Christ on earth. This is antichrist.

Now what else does Paul say about this man of sin? He calls him the “son of perdition”. Did you know there is only one other person in the Bible with that name? JUDAS! (John 17:12). Yes, that DECEIVER FROM WITHIN THE CHURCH! God is letting us know that the man of sin would be just like Judas. Someone who is counted as “one of us”, but works for Satan. The interfaith religion is a agenda the papacy wants listen to this quote “I think the Pope has one main concern: unity .. I think the Pope wants to achieve unity also through the reform of the papacy .. This would help create a new style of papal primacy and episcopal government .. I am thinking of the Christians in Iraq and Syria: never before have there been as many martyrs as today and they are Christians of all denominations. The blood of all Christians is united beyond theological and dogmatic decisions.”

May the Lord keep us established in the present truth because the man of sin will raise again just as it was in the dark ages. Stay close to Jesus my friends
